Directed by Billy Wilder. Written by Charles Brackett, Billy Wilder, and D.M. Marchman Jr. The movie runtime is 1 hour and 50 minutes and will be screened on DCP, courtesy of Swank Motion Pictures.

Arielle Jacobs made her Broadway debut starring opposite Lin-Manuel Miranda as ‘Nina Rosario' in the final Broadway cast of his Tony® and Grammy® award-winning musical In The Heights. She originated the role of ‘Imelda Marcos’ opposite Lea Salonga in the Broadway cast of David Byrne’s Here Lies Love, (filmed for the Lincoln Center Public Library Archives) and starred as ‘Princess Jasmine’ in Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway and in Australia. She originated the role of ‘Gabriella’ in Disney’s High School Musical On Stage, and originated the starring role of ‘Delilah McPhee’ in the Off-Broadway musical Between The Lines (film is currently available on Amazon Prime).  Her voice was the first one heard at the premiere of the Las Vegas SPHERE, the largest screen on Earth, as she voiced Darren Aronofsky's epic sci-fi nature film, Postcard From Earth.  Praised as "Powerful" by The New York Times, and “compelling” and “radiant” by Variety Magazine, Ms. Jacobs has also starred in Wicked on Broadway (Nessa), Rent (Mimi), Two Gentlemen of Verona (Julia) at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington DC, and Into the Woods (as Baker’s Wife opposite Tituss Burgess' witch, and later as Cinderella with Theater Group Asia, opposite Lea Salonga's witch - which broke box office records in the Philippines). Arielle has performed at The Hollywood Bowl, The White House, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, and with dozens of premiere symphonies all around the world. She is the Founder of @TheBroadwayPup which sells Broadway-themed luxury pet bandanas & donates 100% of profits to animal rescue charities. United Palace History  

The ornate United Palace opened in 1930 as the Loew's 175th Street Theatre, a deluxe movie theater and vaudeville house, the last of the five Wonder Theaters in New York City and New Jersey. Its first act as a movie theater ended in April 1969 with a screening of 2001: A Space Odyssey. 

With a groundswell of community support and our good friend, patron, and neighbor Lin-Manuel Miranda, movies returned to the United Palace in 2013. Since then, we have screened over 100 feature films, from world premieres (In the Heights, Halftime, and Rebecca as part of the Tribeca Festival) to all-time classics (It's A Wonderful Life), and community favorites (Mad Hot Ballroom). 

Our goal is to have the cinematic experience come alive for audiences too used to watching movies on their phones or TVs. 

One of our highest compliments came from Robert DeNiro who, speaking before a 50th anniversary screening of The Godfather, described watching a movie at the United Palace as: “The moviegoing experience doesn't get any better.”
